Fashionista Victoria Beckham is Dressed to the Nines, as Usual

Victoria Beckham, the wife of football player David Beckham and former Spice Girl, has admitted that she always dresses up, especially when she’s out in public. Victoria revealed that, “If I go to the supermarket looking like [expletive] … that affects my work. I am selling an image.” Recently, she’s been to her native country to sell her collection, with reports indicating that they’ve been doing very well.

Victoria Beckham, known to fans as Posh Spice, launched her new collection at the Selfridges department store. Press reports revealed that, “Selfridges, which bought 58 of the dresses, has exclusive selling rights until next month, when dresses go on sale in Harrods, as well as Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus in the USA, and Restir in Tokyo.” Receiving 17 of the dresses so far, an insider tells that by 3pm on their first day on sale – only three dresses were left unsold.”

In recent weeks, Victoria has also seemed to lose weight due to David’s impending move to Italy to play for AC Milan. A source reported that, “She’s losing weight because of the stress of him moving away and the next few months will be tough on both of them,” The source added, “When they first talked about him going, I don’t think she thought twice about it. But now that it’s been announced and everyone has had their say, it’s become upsetting… Victoria seemed stunned that people have suggested David might be off as soon as he got the opportunity. Any woman would feel paranoid with all that speculation. It’s gutting for her that people would think that.”

Still, Victoria has mentioned in the past that she has a tendency to ignore what other people say and has chosen to cultivate the close personal relationships she has instead. She opened up in an interview and revealed, “I don’t really care what people think. I never made friends easily. For years, when I was in the Spice Girls, those were my four best friends and we stuck up for each other. Now I’ve got David. Nothing has ever come particularly naturally to me.  It’s made me a hard worker and very disciplined. I get it from my dad.” Regarding what seems to be Mrs. Beckham’s perpetual scowl, Victoria explained, “I have started smiling. I’ve mastered this smirk; it’s a smile that isn’t a smile.”
