The Bruins came into the contest on a five-game slide, while the Cougars had dropped their last four. WASHINGTON TWP. – The Long Valley Middle School girl’s soccer team completed a near perfect season, and tied for the Morris County championship. Reagan Russell scored two goals and Rochelle Duffau had a goal and two assists as the Simi Valley girls’ soccer team remained unbeaten, defeating Notre Dame Academy 3-0 on Saturday to win the South Torrance Tournament. Shannon Buckley also had an assist. Simi Valley’s Samantha Gavirati was named the tourament’s MVP.
