Want To Build An Amazing Kids Soccer Team?
Posted on January 1st, 2010 No commentsBuilding a kids soccer team can be tricky, but is ultimately an amazingly rewarding experience. It takes a lot to successfully coach a kids soccer team. It can take a lot more patience than a soccer coach may normally be used to. Making your kids feel valued, building up essential skills and instilling teamwork and a desire to win are some of the most important aspects to successfully coaching a kids soccer team.
Make Your Kids Feel Valued
Part of your job as a coach is to make your kids feel like they’re a valued part of the team. As a result of your coaching, they should feel that they are good soccer players and that their skills are valued.
Although sometimes more forceful language might be used in training, it’s important that at the end of the day your players know they’re a valued member of the team.
A coach should never, ever verbally abuse a team member with malicious intent. Even harsh language must come from a place of believing in your kids and wanting more for them and their game. It’s important they know that too.
Build Up Essential Soccer Skills
Shooting. Dribbling. Passing. These are all essential skills to playing a great soccer game.
To build up a great kids soccer team, it’s important that they have all their basic skills down. It’s important that your team is well rounded and has all their bases covered. For example, if your team is great at shooting but terrible at passing, that’s a losing strategy.
Build a well rounded, capable team by using drills. Use properly selected drills to build up your team’s skills in various areas of the game.
Instill a Sense of Teamwork and a Strong Desire to Win
Finally, your job as a coach is to build up team spirit.
The best way to do this is to lead by example. Remember, you’re part of the team as well. In fact, you’re usually the very first member of the team. Your degree of dedication to working as a team and winning as a team is what will inspire your team members to feel the same.
Training is a great place to start building the value of teamwork and good spirited competitiveness. Your kids should learn the value of working as a team early on. Winning together is more important than taking credit.
Kids Soccer Training
These three key skills are vital skills to master if you want to build a great kids soccer team. Once you’ve got these three skills down, your team will be an absolute force to be reckoned with!

Amazing Soccer Skills You Need to Know
Posted on December 28th, 2009 No commentsRobinho Move (Pullback)
This move will be pretty useful when there is little space between you and your defender. The move is often used by Madrids dribbling start Robinho to trick his opponents. As with all other moves you need to execute this one with precision and determination to make it work. However, keep in mind that you should not execute this move too often. The reason is that opponents may learn you style of play which will make it easier for them to stop you.
Ronaldinho Flip-Flap
This move will be little overkill if you are new to soccer. The reason is that Ronaldinho Flip Flap move requires some time to learn properly and as a beginner you want fast results. When executing this move in a real soccer game you should have an opponent near you. You should not execute the move 2 yards from the opponent because on that way you will never get past him or her.
Cruyff Move
As you already have figured out, this great soccer move is named after Johann Cruyff (The best Dutch player in soccer history). The move is pretty easy to execute and after trying it out few times you will be able to use it in a real game. However, keep in mind that you need to execute the move in right moment and not too early. Also, this move will be useful in many situations whether you are playing as defender or striker.
The Matthews
Matthews is great in situations when facing your opponent 1 vs 1. The move is named after one of the bets wingers ever, Stanley Matthews. This move will be pretty useful especially if you are playing on the flank. However, keep in mind that you should not execute it too often as your opponent may learn your style of playing.
C 7 Ronaldo Super Move
This move is one of the coolest and greatest for getting around your defender. To perform it you will need to shift the ball quickly between your feet as you drive the ball forward. However, be sure to try out this move on your practice first before executing it in your games.
The Puskas
Great in situations with many defenders around you. As with all other moves it is important to execute this move in right moment ant not too early. Keep in mind to have your body relaxed and wait for your opponent to hug for the ball.
My English may not be the best in the world but I can ensure you that my soccer knowledge is pretty good.
