    • @alex2342341 We may not be the best at FOOTBALL, but thats cause our national sport is played all around the world at a very serious level. I mean you may be the best at all your sports, because no one else cares about them. You play American football, when everyone else in the world plays Rugby, Baseball when every other country plays Cricket. Ok Basketball is played outside the USA but it’s not exactly as popular at Football. Also the english league is the most competitive in the world.

    • He says ‘British’ but I assume he means English, as there is no ‘British’ national soccer team. It is a common misconception. It is worth noting that many people from other British nations took as much if not more delight from that goal than non Brits.

    • I like how the British think they are the best at soccer when they have won one world cup and the domestic teams continually lose to Barcelona in the biggest competion in the world. Furthermore, they always complain that SOMETHING other than having a terrible team at the world cup, such as Maradona used his hand, the goal that wasn’t against Germany. I mean if your team was good, they would win, wouldn’t they?

      @njm5281992 It’s called ‘’soccer”just by the Americans.The rest of the world call it ”Football”,it’s played only by the foot.American football is played by hands so it makes me laugh.Furthermore, Rugby is tougher than American football.They don’t stop the match everytime like you,it drain the resources a way more and your player aren’t so athletic,i would say a lot of them are even ”fat”

    • @legandrydirk And if you would stop and ask your ignorant self why soccer is the number one sport in the world you would realize it is because of how cheap and accessible it is, due to the fact you only need a soccer ball to play unlike other sports like football or basketball. This kind of accessibility makes it possible for even third world countries to play.
