Are skills soccer balls a good buy?
Posted on June 20th, 2011 1 commentI am a middle school student who is looking to brush up on his soccer skills. I am thinking about working with a hacky sack and a skills ball. Amy thoughts?

No Mate, if I am right in thinking a skill ball is about half the size of a standard football.
I had one and if anything it’s better to stick with a full sized ball, (unless you are having trouble learning skills) due to the fact when you play a game or train you are going to find it difficult to pull off some of the skills which you can with a skills ball so there is no use.
Obviously, I don’t know your age or height but I am 14 and average height and have no problem at all with training skills on a full sized ball and the all importantly executing the skills in a game.
If you are smaller than average height you may want to consider a skills ball but honestly, It’s not going to help.
Stick with a standard ball.
