If he was so good so early how is that a famed scout like Wenger missed him..

3:44 Debut for France against the Czech. With France losing 2-0, he comes in and scores two top-drawer goals to equalize. The ability to step up when needed is a quality few players ever possessed.

If zidane played in pele’s day he would have had to play in heavier boots, with leather balls, on muddy football pitches, with defenders who were “allowed” to break your legs, different times!

Zizou actually looked like Gourcuff when he was younger. Check minute 1.12
Zidane is the greatest of all time!

Just look at the 1 st goal in this video. Zidane was magic from the start. He is better than Pele. If pele was around 2day he wouldnt even be playing for Brazil because Ronaldo is 50x more advanced than pele ever was and Zidane flicked the ball over him like a mug in WC06. what would he have done 2 that midget pele??

I think Zidane is better than pele because the most intense football is played in Europe , and pele never went to Europe .

Shut it moron! Pele was great but nothing compares to lord Zidane. And Zidane said Pele was better than him, only because Zidane is modest. He’s not the kind of guy who shows off. So stick a finger up your arse and then lick it, asshole.

I agree with that guy above. You’re a dumbass.
Watch a Pele video on here. He was clearly better. Plus only 30 % of his career is on film. Maradona was better than Zidane too. Zizou said himself! Get a clue. -

You dont know anything about football moron, how can you compare Pele to Zidane? When Pele played, the players and the game were not as fast. Even Pele said it. Pele can’t hold a candle to Zidane, he is the best ever.

anyone who thinks zidane was better than pele is quite clearly retarded. do your homework and check out brazil world cup matches circa 1970

World Cup 2002 was a joke. Italy and Spain were robbed against South Korea. Ronaldo is a mercenary, did nothing between 98 and 02 and magically appeared injury free at World Cup 02. He is a joke.
