You pay a midfielder like a striker then you expect him to score 30 goals per season, but the fact is that he’s a midfielder, his job is to create plays and pass the ball. If he is with shit players (like at LA Galaxy) it won’t lead to assists.

beckham is a wonderful player with an unique tecnique for passing and shooting the ball.
he might not be fast or a dribbler, but his quality is well-known, and his appearance on the field spreads respect and loyalty.
that’s also due to Beckham’s great personality.
he always tries to do his best; he doesn’t mind whether he shoots a goal or not, as long as the team wins. to do so, he plays FOR the team, supporting it however and whenever it is possible to himself. -
