  well, many consider the age when Zidane was playing for Juve as the peak of a soccer player and I guess I have to agree. I followed his time at Madrid more closely but nevertheless his overall shape at Juve was better than at Madrid. But on the other hand…for quite some of his time at Madrid, the team was just not working together… I think under different circumstances the Zidane of these years would’ve played better.

  I think Zidane was at his best when he was at Juventus. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still good when he’s at Real Madrid.

  one past player praised Zidane saying
  that in nowadays football which become more physical and faster,where modern players all want to be faster and stronger,
  Zidane is unique and special because Zidane is one of very few players that mantain the pure skill and beautiful of football

  and i remember Pele said Zidane is very special because Zidane is one of very few modern players that play football like old school player,that play football with beauty and pure skill.

  well, he is the best I have ever seen. But I can’t judge how other players were that played before my time. And I think that, as you say, Zidane is the proof that a player doesn’t have to be fast to dominate everybody else.

  everyone is entitled to opinion.
  for me and many others, Zidane the best ever.
  the best ever doesnt mean to be fast.
  if being the fastest means the best ever,
  so dont play football but
  join sprint race 100 or 200 metres and
  be like Usain bolt.

  even the slowest player yet genius can be the best ever.
  football is football.not sprint race.

  I agree. Zidane wasn’t even fast and he was tall and actually everything was against him in that sense but yet he managed to trick everybody else, even if they had twice the speed or were half his size. He didn’t need that because his insight into the game was so incredible. So I am always a bit shy of saying he’s the greatest player ever, but I am sure he’s the biggest genius in football ever.

  Messi is agile,due to his low gravity center
  C.Ronaldo is power and speed,due to his physical strength
