  Unless you are desperate for new drills, don’t waste your money on this DVD. The drills are OK, but that’s about it. Ball handling is terrible. Who wants to watch drills, where the technique is wrong.

  This DVD has good drills for a beginner goalkeeper, but isn’t useful for the more experienced.

  Reading mixed reviews, I first went to Amazon’s Video On Demand
  
  program and paid $1.99 for a seven day download. It was the best two
  
  bucks I ever spent. I then went out and bought 2 copies for my brother
  
  who coaches goalies in a Division Three college in the Northeast. He loved the program and insists
  
  the positives outweigh any negatives. His goalies were already familiar with
  
  a few of the drills but used the others and even improvised to create some new ones.
  
  Our goalies on our youth level team also practiced the drills and techniques
  
  and we saw improvement throughout the season. If you have any doubt, do what I did
  
  for the $1.99 then you decide.
  
  VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

  I’ve read some incredible 5 star reviews as well as some
  
  that did not recommend this program. Before I purchased this DVD,
  
  I viewed it through Amazon’s Video On Demand program for $1.99.
  
  Happy with the product, I end up purchasing the hard copy DVD.
  
  Let me say this about 34 SOCCER GOALIE DRILLS. It is absolutely not as bad as
  
  a few reviews suggest but I also found it not as great as some of
  
  the five star reviews state. The video does a great job with the number of drills
  
  that are included. Some such as:

  Collapse Drill, Sit up & Catch Drill, Crossing Game, Reaction Drill, Jump Toss Drill, Triangle goalie
  
  make up more than 35 (I counted 37) drills in this DVD.

  The narrator and the pace of the video keeps your interest. The techniques are good but not great.
  
  The video production values are really tops. I’ve seen a number of other soccer videos that
  
  have put me to sleep and the camera cuts and angles are less than amateur.
  
  So the bottom line is I was impressed this program and shared it with four other coaches
  
  in my league and all of them liked it. I also saw improvement with my goalie throughout the
  
  season. I found it important to let your goalie see how these drills work so
  
  let him borrow it (but return it also). If you are still not sure,
  
  do what I did and see it first on their (Amazon’s) video on demand program for less than two bucks.
  
  Recommended for recreational,travel and school teams.

  If you are involved with any soccer program and want your goalkeeper to improve,
  
  this is an excellent product to have. The drills are absolutely first rate
  
  complemented with some excellent techniques. Our goalkeepers on our U14 travel team
  
  used this DVD over the course of two seasons and our goals against us was about
  
  one goal less per game. Some of the best drills were:
  
  Sit Up & Catch, Shuttle Drill, Soft Hands, Jump Toss and Circle Drill.
  
  In many of the drills, the narrator uses the expression “dual purpose drills”
  
  and explains how the drill will benefit the goalkeeper in more than one way.
  
  The organization and professionalism of the video make for great viewing.
  
  I have reviewed over 10 soccer goalkeeping videos and books and
  
  34 SOCCER GOALIE DRILLS rates as the best product yet.
  
  The proof is the improvement we experienced as a team.
